Not being able to find the right wallet for your favorite cryptocurrency is often disappointing and it is something that leads many into falling for wallets which are mostly scams.
Therefore, it is important to choose crypto wallets very smartly. And that is where CoinSutra can be of help. We regularly keep sharing information on the best wallets available in the market for the most popular cryptocurrencies.
In line with that, we thought it is only apt to talk about Qtum wallets available in the cryptosphere.
But for the uninitiated, Ledger Nano S is a pioneer Bitcoin and altcoin hardware wallet operating in this space since 2015 from a manufacturing unit and HQ based in France. The good news is it supports more than 20 cryptocurrencies, including Qtum.
On Ledger Nano S, you can store your cryptos, including Qtum, in a hassle-free manner as it is an HD wallet that provides you the seed words for you to remain in total control of your funds.
Note: Securely note down and store your 24-seed word that Ledger Nano S spits at the time of set-up. If you lose this, all your cryptocurrencies will be lost forever.
Plus, its OLED screen and two side buttons make it very easy to navigate. Here is a video series on Ledger Nano S that will help you get started with Ledger Nano S.
Supported Operating System: Windows, Mac, Linux

QRC20 Support: Yes, using Qtum Web Wallet
Note: Qtum staking cannot happen on Ledger Nano S.
The Qtum dev team has developed a free web version of Qtum wallet for the browser lovers.
The wallet is designed very well and I have been using it for a while. I must say it is quite useful to store a small number of Qtum tokens here.
Creating a new wallet is quite easy as it only requires you to backup your private keys in a text file. Another way to generate a wallet is from a Mnemonic phrase (recommended).
It is a self-hosted wallet where the owner controls the Qtum funds, but needless to say, one needs to be aware of the phishing scams and should always follow the basic online security measures while using a web wallet.
Lastly, the interesting thing is that one can connect their Ledger Nano S also with this web wallet to access their Qtum coins in Ledger.
Qtum Electrum is the fork of the original Bitcoin wallet, Electrum. It allows you to back up your wallet via a mnemonic seed phrase, like a true HD wallet. Also, it is a light wallet as it doesn't require you to download the full node of Qtum.
Qtum Core is their official full node client/wallet that lets you manage Qtum and also allows you to store, send and receive your Qtum coins.
It is a full node client, which means you are required to download the whole blockchain to be able to use this wallet. This will take up a decent amount of hard disk space.
Also, one can write and deploy DApps and smart contracts on Qtum blockchain by using this wallet.
Currently, it is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
It is always good to use multiple wallets for the same cryptocurrency if you have a significant amount of it. This way you can decide, based on your requirement and security point of view, as to how much Qtum you want to keep in a particular wallet.
For example, if you are a developer, you need to keep some Qtum in Qtum Core full node client and if you are a HODLer of Qtum then Qtum Electrum or Ledger Nano S should be good for you.
This is just an example and not an investment advice from CoinSutra.
Now you tell us: Are you invested in Qtum? If yes, where are you storing your Qtum cryptocurrency? Have I missed any quality Qtum wallet? Let us know in the comment section below.
