How to Learn More about Automating Tasks Jason B. Jones An evergreen topic of interest at ProfHacker is how to automate tasks, whether via a web tool such as If This, Then That*, an iOS app such as Workflow (recently bought by Apple), or a language like AppleScript. Anything that you do multiple times is a candidate for automation, although there are always caveats. If you are interested either in learning more about automating tasks, or in finding out updates to automation-related topics, I'm delighted to recommend Automation Orchard. Launched a couple of weeks ago by Rosemary Orchard, Automation Orchard aggregates web posts about automation, publishes (or, I guess, will publish) original posts with automation workflows, and forums, which allow the curious and the expert alike to delve into specific needs.
